Savoury Pancakes







A tasty twist on a seasonal classic!



  1. In a large bowl place the flour, add beaten eggs and mix well, gradually add the milk until the mixture is smooth
  2. Heat oil in a large frying pan.  Add a ladle full of pancake batter to the pan  and cook on both sides until golden brown
  3. Blanch the broccoli florets
  4. Layer ham, broccoli and slices of brie in the middle of each pancake, roll up each pancake around the fillings and place in a baking dish

Cheese sauce

  1. Melt a large knob of butter in a pan, add plain flour and mix well over low heat, and gradually add the milk, stirring continually, until a thick smooth sauce is achieved
  2. Add grated cheddar cheese and mix until the cheese has melted into the sauce
  3. Pour over the stuffed pancakes
  4. Sprinkle with more cheddar cheese and bake until golden brown

  • 4 slices Independent Honey Roast Ham
  • 300ml Independent Milk
  • 600ml Independent Milk
  • 100g Independent Plain Flour
  • 25g Independent Salted Butter
